The Macallan Harmony series is inspired by Macallan Harmony Smooth Arabica, which is a malt whiskey in this year’s coffee series. The packaging is also a major focus. It is made of reused and recycled coffee bean shells, emphasizing reuse and environmental protection. This special single malt whiskey is inspired by Ethiopian Arabica coffee beans. Ethiopia is known as the birthplace of coffee because Arabica beans were the first variety of coffee grown.​​​​ This whiskey has a unique coffee flavor, with aromas of espresso, dark chocolate and sweet oak.
